after thinking about it for what feels like forever, i finally started making my own website.

honestly, i forgot how much fun it is to just mess around with HTML. there's something really satisfying about changing a few lines of code and immediately seeing something different.

i have absolutely no idea what this website is going to turn into yet, but that's kind of the point. i'll figure it out as i go.

hopefully i'll actually keep updating it this time instead of abandoning it after three days lol.

went out for a walk today and ended up finding this really strange little place i'd never noticed before.

it wasn't anything particularly exciting at first. just an old building tucked away behind a bunch of trees.

but the more i looked at it, the more curious i got. there were old signs, broken windows, and what looked like someone's stuff still sitting inside.

i took a few pictures, so i'll probably put those in the gallery sometime soon.

definitely going back there eventually.

i found my old computer while cleaning today.

i genuinely don't know why i've kept this thing for so long. it barely works, the fan sounds like a jet engine, and the hard drive makes noises that probably aren't supposed to happen.

obviously, i plugged it in immediately.

somehow it still booted.

there are old pictures, music, random text files, and approximately a million programs i haven't thought about in years.

i might spend some time going through everything. it feels like opening a tiny time capsule.

it's 2am and i'm still awake.

i should probably be sleeping but instead i'm sitting here listening to music and staring at my computer screen.

nights like this are weird. everything feels quieter and somehow more interesting.

anyway, that's all i really wanted to say.
